A pre-ceremony cocktail hour will be held from 3pm-4pm at the Historic Jane Pickens Theater, a world-class art house cinema. The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm.

Ochre Court

Attire: Formal
Shuttles will take our guests from the Jane Pickens Theater to Ochre Court, a historic French/Gothic-style mansion located on the Cliff Walk. Cocktail hour to start followed by dinner, dessert and dancing!
Bring a warm coat and enjoy the ocean cliff views on the back lawn before the sun goes down..
After Party - 10:30pm - 1:00am
Fastnet Pub

Shuttles will take our guests from Ochre Court to the afterparty at Fastnet Pub. Located just off Washington square and adjacent to downtown Newport bar scene. Ryan and Spencer’s favorite pub to grab a Guinness and throw some darts.

A breathtaking 3.5 mile walking path that borders the shore line with entrances located along Salve Regina's campus where Ryan and Spencer attended college together.
Ryan and Spencer celebrated their one year anniversary of dating on the Cliff Walk in 2009 EEK!

During your Cliff Walk, take a detour down Wetmore Ave and marvel at Seaview Terrace from the street (private property). This is the filming location of the 1970’s vampire sitcom, Dark Shadows. It also inspired the haunted house in the intro to Scooby Doo Where Are You?.

If you’re looking for a good beer and great burger, Pour Judgement is the place. Spencer’s college apartment was on the second floor of this location, so he and Ryan spent many a night here.

Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.
Will shuttles be available?
Yes, the shuttles will be available throughout the night.
Timeline: TBD - Check back soon for the shuttle pick up and drop off timeline.
What is the dress code?
Attire: Formal
Ladies: Formal cocktail attire (long dresses/cocktail dresses/dressy jumpsuits).
Gents: Suit and tie, dark colors encouraged.
Is the Ceremony and Reception Wheelchair Accessible?
Yes each location is Wheelchair Accessible, however the restrooms at the Jane Pickens Theater where the ceremony will be held requires two steps down.
What will the weather be like?
Newport autumn can be chilly and breezy, with average highs of 53°F and lows of 40°F.
Please dress warmly!
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us! However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors. The reception does have a back terrace and lawn area overlooking the water. We recommend brining a warm coat so you can enjoy at your leisure!
Where should I park?
Shuttles will be provided for transportation throughout wedding day events. If you insist on driving, please do so safely!
Ceremony: Street parking or paid lot. We recommend utilizing our shuttles or using a ride share.
Reception: There is plenty of free parking at Ochre Court. Lot located off Webster Street. After Party: Street parking or paid lot. If you are staying at Hammetts, we recommend parking at the hotel and walking over.

Closest Airport?
T.F. Green in Providence, RI is the closest airport to Newport. If you’re having trouble finding a direct flight, we suggest flying into Boston’s Logan Airport which is just an hour away.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by October 1st, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
